We would like to thank everyone for all the food parcels that came to school for our Harvest festival. The children in Years 5 and 6 spent the afternoon delivering parcels to people in the local community. Some of the year 6 children walked to St Catherines Church with a member of staff to deliver parcels to the food bank. The church were extremely grateful. Thank you again for your continued support.

Harvest Festival

This year our Harvest festival will be celebrated on Wednesday, 18th October at 9.30 am.
Mrs Cogbill’s class will present our Harvest celebration to the school.  Parents of
Mrs Cogbill’s class and our School Governors are welcome to join us at this special event.  Unfortunately we have to restrict our invitations as we are unable to accommodate everyone.

There are various ways you can donate to the Harvest Festival
  • Gifts of fruit, vegetables etc., can be sent in to school on that day for distribution by Year 5 and Year 6 children within our local community.
  • You may give tins or packets of food to go to Trussell Trust Food bank.
  • You may wish to give a donation towards Noahs Ark – Neonatal Appeal.
(Please make cheques to ‘Maesycoed School fund’ in envelope marked Harvest)

If you know of any pensioners or people who are unwell in the area please send their names in so that they can be included on our list.

Many thanks for your continued support.
